We are very excited that you signed up for one of our workshops.

To make the most of this crafty evening, we will provide some additional information in advance.

Creative freedom! It will be a busy evening, so everything you can already prepare in advance is beneficial for the result. Please scroll through Pinterest, Instagram or magazines to fuel your inspiration and imagination. While we will provide some guidance and inspiration, we encourage you to awaken your own creativite flow. We advise you to think of a ring, earrings or a pendant. Make some simple sketches or a moodboard. Have fun!

Safety first! Please wear something (old) that may get dirty. Working in the studio could leave some marks. We advise you to wear casual clothes, preferably non-synthetic. Make sure you are able to put your hair up when necessary. We will be working with concentrated open flames when soldering.

Navigate yourself! The studio is located in Amsterdam Noord - NDSM. Take ferry F7 from Pontsteiger or ferry F4 from Amsterdam central station towards NDSM. Don’t forget to check departure times. From there it is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute cycle to Tt Vasumweg 119.
If you are driving you can park your car for free next to the fence or on the basketball court in front of the entrance. When you arrive, please ring the bell next to the large steel doors so we can welcome you in STUDIO eF7.

SILVERSMITH workshop! Our workshops offer a hands-on experience with the traditional craft of silversmithing. You will be guided to design and create your own unique piece(s) of jewellery during the weekly sessions. The basic workshops are focused around working with the solid state of sterling silver in techniques such as sawing, forging, filing, soldering, sanding and polishing. 
After the class we will weigh your piece to charge for material costs at the price of €4/gram 925 silver. You will leave the workshop with a finished small piece of jewellery that you can wear or gift to someone.

WAXCARVING workshop! hosted by isabel. These sessions are focused around making a ring from wax, so it could be transformed into sterling silver by using the lost wax casting method. We will guide you along all the steps of carving your design from wax using different tools and techniques. After the workshop, we will take care of casting your creation into sterling silver as well as polishing for an additional fee* - to be paid at the end of the workshop after weighing your wax model.


* = €35 + €2,50/gram casted silver.
We calculate this according to the following ratio: 1g wax = 11g silver. The average silver casted ring weighs between 6 and 14 grams.
